BIPO’s traditional New Year’s Concerts have already made a fan base in Istanbul and the orchestra will surely deliver what it’s expected to. The first concert of 2012 will feature the famous coloratura soprano Elena Fink who has always been a favorite of critics since the beginning of her career. Having trained and matured in German opera culture, she has appeared in the most prestigious theaters of Europe and recorded many albums. Fink is a sought after name for the European audience for the New Year’s concerts because she truly is a queen of arias. And the repertoire is just so fitting for this special occasion.
