After the release of Rox’s debut album ‘Memoirs’ in June 2010 with Rough Trade Records, Rox received critical acclaim, made a fair thousand fans & toured the world.

After several months of touring ‘Memoirs’, Rox decided to lock herself away for a year and write new material that was closer to her heart. Inspired by greats such as Janis Joplin & bands such as The Black Keys & The Dead Weather, Rox has created a sound that is soulful but this time with the low-fi undertones of Rock’n’Roll.
